Amy's 2nd Response.
I think that you have good ideas. There could be a lot of different topics that you could could get from cellphones. You could have more information, but I think overall that it's pretty good.

Callie, I really like your topic choice. And yes its going to keep you interest because technology with cell phones is advancing daily. It's gone from people carrying a cell phone, camera, and a planner in there purse to one carrying a phone that does it all for you, even taking away the purpose of an alarm clock. I know that I don't think I could function with out my cell phone. One thing I think you might have a hard time finding is a lot of information about all different types of cells phone companies and carriers I feel that Verizon, At&t and few others will be your main sources and is that going to be enough for 6 months of research? Not that you need to change your topic but rather modify it. Maybe make it technology and teens which is a broader topic that I think would have more information. You have a good argument about parents being able to track there children by cell phones. Which I agree is completely ridiculous. Another approach you could take is cell phones and how they keep people connected. I googled your topic and found this. I think it might help you look at another view point or direction you could go in.

after reading everything it looks like you know what you are talking about. you choose something very interesting when you talked about the tracker thing. That is really bad that someone can see everything on your phone. You should look into this even more and find out if this is completely legal. Maybe there are lawsuits going on.
